The Abbott Professional Town Homes
The Abbott is situated in historic South End and is MECA’s newest residential development. Located in the heart of the Design District, The Abbott is a 16 unit condominium project with an optional home office on the ground floor.
Camden Row
Another great MECA development, Camden Row is an office building that houses ten unique live/work units. Current owners offer a strong mix of businesses for the local community with law offices, an architecture firm, and a salon, as well as two boutiques and a mailing store. Located near the East/West Light Rail Station, this property sees a lot of public traffic and benefits from MECA’s attention to detail and quick response to needs such as lighting, parking control and security.
Citispace in Southend
A two-story office condominium and showroom project, Citispace is located in what once was an industrial center of Charlotte. The building draws from the roots of its location, offering a mix of wood, steel and concrete with office and showroom space that is contemporary within a traditional structure. The third and final building in this phased project is LEED Silver certified.
Court 6
MECA was hired in 2010 to manage this 83 unit mixed use building built in 2007. An interior courtyard and fountain provide ambiance for residents of this uptown property adjacent to the Time Warner Arena.
Financial stability, landscaping and interior hallway improvements are among the current goals MECA is assisting the community in accomplishing while maintaining efficient operations.
Courtside
Courtside is 107 unit mixed use high-rise building built in 2006 including a 5 level parking deck and roof top terrace. Well maintained common areas and security procedures are a signature of this building were MECA is responsible for thorough execution and coordination of many detailed and effective processes.
CSV West
CSV Commercial Lofts is a community of 30 commercial condominium units developed by MECA and predominately owned by design-related businesses. Located in the heart of South End, the colorful metal sheet siding and roofing is a unique feature of the complex; MECA’s keen attention to preventative maintenance and long term planning has resulted in the outstanding appearance and financial stability of this decade old community.
Factory South Lofts
Formally the Lance Building, this property was converted into an 85 unit mixed-use community in 1997. The commercial space houses a variety of shops and restaurants and while unique loft units make up the upper floors. In 2001 with the expertise and assistance of MECA, the community underwent a $250,000 full scale renovation. Since MECA began management, property values have doubled and Factory South Lofts is known as one of the most financially stable associations in Charlotte.
Gateway Lofts
A 2002 addition to the Gateway Village area of Uptown Charlotte’s 3rd Ward, Gateway Lofts is made up of 80 two level residential lofts and Retail units housing neighborhood restaurants and a mini mart. MECA’s management scope extends to elevator lobby and parking areas shared with Gateway Village and include developing and maintaining relationships to aid in the smooth operation of this mixed use building in a high traffic area. Since beginning management in 2011, MECA has successfully worked with the Board and community to establish a budget which will promote a better financial course and ensure all aspects of the building are properly maintained.
Gateway Plaza
Developed in 2002 by Boulevard Centro, MECA took over management of this 116 unit mixed use property in 2010. Amenities managed in this secure building include a shared parking garage, pool, roof deck and clubroom.
Since beginning management, MECA has successfully guided the Board and community through a number of building exterior maintenance projects and a reserve/ capital maintenance analysis to better plan for future needs. A 10 year maintenance and vision plan is currently in development.
The Kingston
Originally developed and marketed by MECA Properties, The Kingston is a condominium complex in South End with 12 unique urban units and two retail/office spaces on the ground level. Located across from Charlotte’s new light rail, The Kingston is within close proximity to all the shops, restaurants, and conveniences South End has to offer.
Magnolia Place
This four-story brick condominium building with 31 two and three bedroom units located in the heart of the Dilworth neighborhood boasts a gated entry, glass atrium elevator lobby, and covered garage parking. An involved community, their garden club is supported by MECA’s oversight and resources. Annual initiatives are established by the Board and with the aid of MECA, the community has quite a long list of accomplishments from gardens and water conservation to lobby renovations and preventative maintenance.
Olmsted Park
This 138 unit conversion project in Dilworth sits on what used to be Charlotte’s minor league baseball park. The 12.5 acres feature several buildings, private streets, a pool and clubhouse. A healthy balance of maintenance and improvement projects in this community has been aided tremendously by a comprehensive Vision Plan created at the suggestion of MECA Properties when the community was first established.
Ordermore 8
Developed in 2009 by McAllister Residential Group, Ordermore 8 is a unique 8 unit townhouse style condominium community with craftsman detailing located in Dilworth. Initially self-managed, MECA began management in 2010 to bring much needed processes, procedures and formality to the oversight and upkeep of this community. Today residents credit MECA with making it possible for them to get back to enjoying their homes.
Queens Six Two Six
Located in historic Myers Park, Queens Six Two Six is a 12-unit luxury condominium project. The four-story steel and concrete structure has a brick veneer and other accent materials. The building includes underground parking, a first floor wine room, covered balconies and a rooftop penthouse.
